A curtailed day in Dublin

We picked up the car early afternoon and decided to drive along the coast to Howth, where we shared our fish and chips with the local bird population. It was a strange feeling wearing our jackets after so much heat in France.

Then we went back to our hotel and dropped off the car and went into the city by bus. We had dinner at a pub that says it’s the oldest pub in Dublin. Also very different from France.

Then we wandered along the Liffey and O’Connell Street to catch the bus back again. We had hoped to catch some music but we too tired to wait until it start after 9:30.
