A little later start today. No car so we set off on foot. Lots of things and people to look at, many different languages but the (second) language in common is English. first stop was the Concert Hall - a very interesting building. It was chilly and very windy but the sun was shining. We've been very lucky with the weather!

Next stop one of the 3 art museums. A variety of interesting and some weird displays. The building looks like it might have once been a prison, but was actually a warehouse.

Then we made our way to the Flyover Iceland show. Very enjoyable. (No photos.

By then my legs were feeling very tired so we got a taxi to the centre of town and wandered around until we found the famous hot dog stand. We all had one!

While Malcolm went off to find the other parts of the Art Museum (3 separate buildings)! I wandered back to our hotel to via sone shops (bought some slippers) and Phillip tried unsuccessfully to find an antique shop.

Dinner in an Italian restaurant with Icelandic sourced food followed by a couple of drinks at a bar with a really good band. While there I discovered that I had walked over 12,000 steps so no wonder my legs are so tired and my knee protesting.

Would have liked to stay longer but had to repackage my bag and we are being picked up at 7 am in the morning.

So that's it for Iceland. Thanks for a great trip Phillip and Malcolm.

Back to Kieran's in Glasgow for a couple of nights before going to the outer Hebrides with Sue and Malcolm and Marg.
