A warm welcome

Wednesday - Ballynahinch

An uneventful drive to Belfast from Dublin.

It was wonderful to see Kieran in the flesh again. He’s got a lovely flat. It’s upstairs but once you are up the stairs it’s all on one level. It has a really nice feel to it and a wonderful view. Who needs TV with an ever changing view like that!

We had a little look around the town and I n the evening we met with his immediate “adopted” family, the Reas, and were welcomed warmly with a meal at the Primrose Hotel. It was great to meet everyone after hearing so much about them. They’ve been great friends and support to Kieran and are all really lovely.

I forgot to take people photos. Must remember on Monday when we get together again.
