Another day, another Foss!

I managed to stay up last night to almost get the sunset!

Our first stop today (11 July) was at the Kolugljufur foss. Very swift running and, as ever, such a lot of water!

Then a change of pace at a seal museum before heading upstairs for a fishy lunch at Hvammstangi.

Back on the road to visit a replica of the turf house that Erik the Red is believed to have lived in. Very knowledgeable guide.

on to the Franciskus hotel at Stykkisholmur never stayed at a hotel with a chapel before and there was even a priest staying there. A very pretty place with a wonderful view from our room.
