Deja Vu!

This morning my Facebook feed showed me that we were looking at glaciers and icebergs on this day 8 years ago. And here we are again looking at glaciers and icebergs again!

A quick look at the Sisters Falls at Klauster - a very pretty spot. The picture doesn't do it justice. Not grand but it would be a very nice spot for a picnic.

Then on the road - destination Hofn. Spectacular scenery at times, moonscapes at others.

Stops on the way:

A waterfall (of course)

Saw lots of glaciers

Then a boat ride in sartorial splendour among the icebergs at Fjallsarlon

On to Jokullsarlon for a look at more icebergs and a food truck lunch (hot dog for me, lobster roll for Malcolm and Cod and chips for Phillip).

A side trip to a granite column canyon (earlier)

And a quick look at Diamond Beach

Then on to our hotel this side of Hofn with a view of three glaciers for dinner - very hard to take!
