Not the most comfortable bed!

But we slept better than we thought we would.

Back on the bus again this morning to Lake Ashi for a short cruise. It was a beautiful clear day and there was Mt Fuji gleaming in the sunshine

Up the Hakone Ropeway Gondola for even better views of the Hakone mountains and Fuji.

Picked up some magic boxes and lunch before our last stop at the Hakone Open Air Museum which includes a building with lots of work by Picasso. Many great pieces in the gardens and a wonderful children’s playground.

Back to the hotel to pack an overnight bag for tomorrow night as our bags are going by road to Takayama while we go on a couple of bullet trains. Then another bath and buffet dinner where Phillip hopes to have more choice. He’s been doing very well but would like a change.
