Tuesday
Our group met after breakfast and we met our guide Kuyoko. There are 20 in the group.
Off on a bus to go to the old fish market, via a Shinto Shrine. Lots of interesting things to look at around the market
Then we were back on the bus to go to a sushi restaurant. Koko-san gave us a lesson in how to use chopsticks on the way. At the restaurant we got dressed in our chef’s gear and after a demonstration we had to make our own sushi. Great fun and we all followed the correct procedure (apart from me missing out the wasabi because I don’t like it) and then, of course, we had to eat it plus lots of other goodies.
Back on the bus for a quick look around the Ginza shopping area and then to the Shibuya Crossing / Scramble
Finally, dinner was a on a little cruise boat and was another traditional Japanese dinner with sashimi, tempura, teriyaki chicken etc, similar to lunch. Great view of the city and the Rainbow Bridge.
