We’re here!

Fairly smooth sailing departure apart from Phillip leaving his phone behind at security and having to go back and find it!

The flights were on time and we managed a bit of sleep.

On arrival we breezed through Immigration and tried to make our way to the baggage area. Thought it was a bit strange seeing people wheeling trolleys in the opposite direction when we neared the area but soon discovered the reason - lines of trolleys blocking where we were supposed to be going and police and fireys on the other side. Apparently there was a suspicious suitcase. Resolved after a while and went to the revised carousel. Found 2 bags fairly quickly - Alison noticed there were cases being pulled off the carousel by staff. Waited and waited for the remaining bag before realising that there were 3 groups of bags sitting around and found our bag there.

No issues after that and then we were out and greeted warmly by Kieran. That first hug was wonderful!
